Suggested Use

Stovetop: Rinse lentils before cooking. Place 1 cup of lentils in a large pot with 3 cups of water and 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until tender, 15-20 minutes; drain well. ~Makes 4 servings.

Note: Pre-soaking, slow or pressure cooking is not recommended, and specific recipe requests it.
