PEG, or Polyethylene Glycol, is an ingredient used in many different types of skincare products for its emulsification ability and the smooth feel it imparts on the skin. Unfortunately, there has been some growing concern that ingredients derived from petrochemicals may not be as 'kind' to the skin as its frequent usage might indicate.
