The Minikini story

The idea of a bikini hair dye was born over 15 years ago. It started in a salon when our founder Teri ( a hairdresser), was asked by her client if she could use regular hair dye down below. Turns out the client was recently dating in her 50s and was embarrassed by graying hair. Teri realized that regular hair dye would be too harsh for the sensitive bikini area. Thus began the journey into the creation of the world's first bikini hair dye. It was proudly developed and made in the UK. It is now sold worldwide.

How long will it last? As it is permanent and grows out it will last 6-8 weeks.
If I go blonde and want to go back dark how long should I wait to do it? We recommend you wait at least 2 weeks.
Can pregnant use it, too? This product is NOT recommended for use during pregnancy.
Is it safe to use in such a sensitive area? Yes. We have developed a special formula to color pubic hair. It’s non-drip and safe as long as you follow the instructions. Remember minikini is for external use only.
Why can’t I just use conventional hair color off-the-shelf? These are not recommended because they can be very harsh in such a sensitive area.
Will it rub off on my underwear? No. Minikini will not rub off on underwear or other clothing Nor will it rub off with physical activity.
Can men use it, too? Yes. We have found many men want to cover their gray down there as well as their chest hair.
Will I get any staining on the skin as I do with normal color? All color has a tendency to stain the skin to some degree, especially the darker colors. However, we found with Minikini if staining occurs it is very light. It is recommended to use a barrier cream (such as Vaseline) around the area to be colored. i.e. inner thighs and bikini line.
Duration of miniKINI Hair Colour? miniKINI is considered to be a permanent hair colour. Typically permanent hair colours on the head last 4 weeks. However, as miniKINI is applied on the pubic area the colour is more likely to last 3 weeks.
