Bitter Balm" is simply a bitter tasting mineral oil that has been thickened into an ointment. It is used to make dogs (big and small) stop chewing on furniture, bandages, wounds, anything you don't want them to chew on. Let them smell the product (it doesn't smell bad), then let them get a little taste. The doggies won't like it. Now, put it on the surface they keep chewing. Hint: a little bit goes a long way.
