It is perfect bedding material not only for birds but also mice, hamsters, rats, ferrets, guinea pigs and gerbils etc. Each organic bird nesting kit contains 50g of alpaca fibre. All fibre is sourced from our herd at Ballymac Alpaca. Ballymac Alpaca is a family run alpaca farm based in Co Armagh, Northern Ireland. All alpacas are sheared annually and fibre used to make these unique bird friendly gifts. These hypoallergenic packs are filled with warm and water repellent alpaca fibre. Bird nesting kits with reusable bird feeders are available from our shop. Welcome native birds to your garden and provide them with warm and truly natural material for their nest building. * Note material is now not sold with netting as this can be a risk to birds getting their feet caught. Alpacas are playful creatures that love to roll around the field and rub against bushes. Even after the second skirting (cleaning) some natural debris may remain. Don’t worry this is completely harmless and natural. * Alpacas come in 22 officially recognised colours therefore kits may vary in colours. * Momma birds continue to make nests until late July.
