Ist Leder damit von gestern? Schöne bunte Farbenwelt. Die Zeiten von lodengrün und lederbraun sind vorbei. Immer mehr Signalfarben sind auf der Jagd, beim Reiten oder Hundespaziergang zu sehen. Hunde und Pferde tragen „Signalkleidung“. Das dient der Sicherheit, und das ist auch gut so. BioThane kommt ursprünglich aus den USA. Dort wurde es als Lederersatz entwickelt. Ob mit oder ohne Noppen auf der Oberfläche ist eine Frage des Einsatzgebiets. BioThane ist sehr angenehm in der Hand, keine scharfen Kanten oder raue Strukturen, die verletzen könnten. Gerade bei Hundeleinen, Halsbändern, Longen, Halftern oder Schweißriemen ist weich und griffig die optimale Kombination.
