The bigger the wheel the greater the top speed a wheel can handle. The softness of Mountain Cruisers at 80a makes for an ideal durometer for stability and grip at high speeds. An offset core allows the wheels to be able to grip through turns and corners. Mountain Cruisers do have a rounded lip, so once broken in these wheels will be able to do their fair share of sliding!
