Electrostimulation

The principle of action of electrostimulation devices is based on the replica of the body's impulses, transmitted by electrodes to nerve and muscle fibers via the skin. Electrodes can be attached to many parts of the body, electrical stimuli are safe and practically painless. In some cases, you will only feel a slight tingling or a slight vibration. The electrical impulses sent to the tissues influence the transmission of excitation during nerve conduction as well as that of nerve nodes and muscle groups in the area of use. The effect of electrostimulation usually appears only after repeated use. Electrostimulation on the muscle does not replace regular training, but adds an additional effect.

Using electrical stimulation - Three basic functions can be combined

The replacement kit with four self-adhesive gel electrodes is intended for Beurer electrical stimulation devices for pain treatment, muscle building and massage. They can be used with EM 40, EM 41, EM 41.1 and EM 80.

TENS

TENS corresponds to transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation or electrical stimulation of the nerves acting on the skin. TENS technology is certified as a clinically proven, effective, non-medicated and side effect-free method for treating specific causes of pain - as well as for self-treatment.

EMS

Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is a widely used and widely recognized method used for years in the field of sports medicine and rehabilitation. In sports and fitness, EMS is used in addition to conventional muscle training to increase the performance of muscle groups and to adjust the proportions of the body to the desired aesthetic results. The EMS application goes in two directions: strengthening muscles and relaxation.

Massage

Thanks to the integrated massage technology, EMS / TENS digital devices also offer the possibility to reduce muscle tension and combat signs of fatigue with a program based on the feel and effect of a real massage.

The electrodes can be easily applied to the skin, just place them on the area of the body where the treatment is required, no contact gel is necessary. A sensible distance between the electrodes is about 5 to 15 cm below 5 cm, mainly superficial structures are strongly stimulated, above 15 cm, they are treated very weakly. The placement of the electrodes should be chosen to surround the muscle segments to be treated for optimal effect, the distance between the electrodes should be no more than about 15 cm. The electrodes can be used with Beurer TENS devices for pain relief and EMS devices for muscle training, regeneration as well as for massage for relaxation and wellbeing.
