Electrostimulation.

The principle of action of electro-stimulation devices is based on the replica of the body's own impulses, which by means of electrodes over the skin to the nerve or muscle fibres. The electrodes can be attached to many parts of the body, whereby the electrical stimuli are harmless and virtually pain-free. You only feel a gentle tingling or vibrating in certain applications. The electrical pulses sent into the tissue affect the transmission of excitement in nerve lines, as well as nerve knots and muscle groups in the area of application. The effect of electrostimulation is usually only visible after regular repeated use. On the muscle, the electrostimulation does not replace regular training, complements the effect of the same but meaningfully.

Application of electrostimulation - three combinable basic functions.

The replacement set of eight self-adhesive gel electrodes is designed for use with Beurer electrostimulation devices for pain therapy, muscle strengthening and massage. Can be used with EM 40, EM 41, EM 41.1 and EM 80.

TENS.

TENS, the transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation, is the electrical stimulation of nerves that works over the skin. TENS is a clinically proven, effective, non-drug-free, side-effect-free method for treating pain of certain causes - also for simple self-treatment.

EMS.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is a widely used and widely recognised method and has been used in sports and rehabilitation medicine for years. In the sports and fitness area, EMS is used, among other things, in addition to conventional muscle training, to increase the performance of muscle groups and to adapt the body proportions to the desired aesthetic results. The application of the EMS goes in two directions: Strengthen the muscles and relaxation.

Massage.

Thanks to the integrated massage technology, the digital EMS/TENS devices also offer the possibility to reduce muscle tension and fight signs of fatigue with a sensation and effect based on a real massage.

The electrodes can be easily applied to the skin, just place them on the area of the body where the treatment is required, no contact gel is necessary. A sensible distance between the electrodes is about 5 to 15 cm below 5 cm, mainly superficial structures are strongly stimulated, above 15 cm, they are treated very weakly. The placement of the electrodes should be chosen to surround the muscle segments to be treated for optimal effect, the distance between the electrodes should be no more than about 15 cm. The electrodes can be used with Beurer TENS devices for pain relief and EMS devices for muscle training, regeneration as well as for massage for relaxation and wellbeing.
