HIYA BABY has designed this Bed Rail for the Safety and Security for any Individual who has the possibility of accidentally rolling out of bed. The Strength and Sturdiness of this Bedrail starts with the metal Frame to help to guard against accidents. The Top, Sides, and Bottom of the side gate is metal and used to insert and stretch out the fabric to properly frame the bedside. This frame and fabric with mesh protect the baby, toddler, kid or special needs individual from rolling off the bed. The legs that run underneath the top mattress are flat metal supports that are connected by a strong strap. The straps attach to an anchor which can be adjusted to anchor to the other side of the bed. The Bed Rail has a manual lock on each end that locks into place when in the upright position. The Bedrail does not fold down until both locks are unlocked at the same time. Please measure your mattress, as there are some VERY thick mattresses with pillow tops and added foam toppers that are thicker than the height of this product. If you mattress is thicker than 15" thick or if you have too many thick comforters, this 21" tall bedrail may not give you enough protection depending on the size of the individual you are trying to protect.
