Bear Grips, located in Boston, MA, was started in 2014. Founded by Kunal Jhaveri, who at the time was a personal trainer, first drew his idea on a napkin at his gym's breakroom, using client's as testers, it took over 27 samples to come up with the initial product which he called "Bear Grips"
