Basil seeds are also known as Tukmaria or falooda seeds are black in color and tear-drop shaped. Basil seeds are most nutritious when soaked in water and consumed. They begin to swell at the touch of water, with a translucent white film coating each black seed, and they become twice their size.

HOW TO SOAK TUKMURIA SEEDS:

More soaking won’t hurt. They swell up the water, create a transparent gel-like membrane around it. If added water is less then it becomes lumpy. No worry add more water and let them absorb. Drain the water and use it as required. Leftover can be kept in the refrigerator, covered for one day. Take basil seeds in a bowl and pour the water, as soon as you pour water, it will start to absorb. If added water is less then they become lumpy. No worry add more water and let them absorb. let it soak for minimum 10 to 20 minutes, you can soak for over 30 minutes aswell.
