2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1-1/4 tsp salt
1-1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsp honey, plus toppings of your choice

How to Prepare Quick Barley Bread Without Yeast

Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 40 min | Total Time: 50 min | Servings: 15 slices

INSTRUCTION:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Take 8-1/2 by 4-1/2 bread loaf pan and spray with nonstick spray.
In a bowl, mix barley flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder together.
In another bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk, oil, and honey.
Pour liquid ingredients into the flour mixture and stir until combined.
Add toppings according your preference (nuts, oats etc.), or omit this step in all.
Pour the batter into the bread loaf pan and bake for 35 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out dry and clean.
