Schon in seiner Jugend war Matze sich sicher: Zander sind zickig bei der Köderaufnahme. Doppeldrillinge oder zu dicke Vorfächer waren Gift für die Bissausbeute. Kleine Einzelhaken, durch Rücken oder Maul gezogen, verursachten ebenfalls Fehlbisse. Matze s Lösung ist dieses spezielle Zandervorfach. Ein Riesenhaken scheint zunächst kontraproduktiv. Doch mit der Ködernadel sauber aufgezogen schaut nur ein recht kleiner Teil des runden Hakenbogens aus dem Rücken, dem Kiemendeckel oder dem Maul, ganz wie gewünscht. So präsentiert man seine Köderfische unauffällig und dennoch hochgradig effektiv, denn der nadelscharfe Haken fasst sofort.
