Matze empfiehlt mit einem Wurf zu loten und den Köder dann gut einen Meter über Grund driften zu lassen. Die Segelpose ist besonders für die Drift geeignet und sorgt für eine dezente Bewegung des Köderfisches. Dafür ist oft noch nicht mal viel Wind nötig, die Zugluft unter der Brücke reicht oft schon aus, um den Köder auf Wanderschaft zu schicken. Die Pose ist enorm gut sichtbar, auch bei Wellen oder Distanzen von über 20m. Die Bleikugeln erlauben es flexibel zu sein. Will man schwere Köder driften lassen, verwendet man nur eine Kugel.
