Moisturisation When dry skin begins to crack, the skin may be at risk of becoming infected with bacteria. Regular moisturising can prevent skin from cracking and the use of emollients such as creams, lotions and bath oils are a convenient and recognised way to treat dry skin conditions. Balneum's range of therapeutic emollients can help to relieve the effects of dry skin.	Soothe Dry Skin Replacing essential oils found in the skin can help to relieve the discomfort of dry skin and manage symptoms associated with diagnosed skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. Soya oil which can be found in Balneum bath oils softens dry skin, whilst also cleansing and helping to protect against further drying out.	Diagnosed Skin Conditions Dry and itchy skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis can occur anywhere on the body. If left untreated, the skin can crack and become infected which can lead to scarring. If you previously received emollient prescriptions from your GP but they are no longer available, the Balneum range may provide suitable treatment.	Itchy Skin Itching is a distressing symptom of dry skin conditions and can result in an ongoing cycle that can be hard to break. Persistent itching can damage the skin, allowing irritants, allergens and bacteria to penetrate the skin which may lead to unwanted infections. Balneum Plus Cream's dual action formula helps to break the itch-scratch cycle.

Balneum Plus Bath Additive rapidly relieves symptoms associated with dry, itchy skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis, whilst cleansing skin. Active ingredients include Lauromacrogols, which provide rapid relief of itching and Soya Oil, which is an emollient (moisturiser) to soothe and soften dry skin by replacing lost oils. INGREDIENTS Soya oil BP 82.95 w w. Lauramacrogols 15 w w DIRECTIONS Dosage:Adults: for full bath use 3 capfuls (20ml) when bathing. Children: for a child's bath use 1 capful (5ml), for a partial bath use half a capful (2.5ml). For children and infants a daily bath is recommended. SAFETY WARNING You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.Avoid contact of this medicine with the eyes.When using this preparation in the bath or shower take care to avoid slipping, especially when getting in or out, as this preparation may make the bath shower more slippery than usual.This medicine is not to be taken by mouth.
