Will the sun protection wash out of the shirt

UPF is normally achieved by how tight the weave of the fabric is, it shouldn't diminish out unless there is excessive wear and tear.

I don't believe that it will. I have washed it several times and bought more. I really like them.

What temperature water should it be washed in

I wash all of my sun shirts in warm water. I don't think it matters; the fabric won't shrink.

Is the material lightweight and quick drying enough to be worn as a sunshirt/rashguard for swimming and water activity

Yes, that is exactly how I use my shirt. Very light weight and quick drying.

I'm 5'5" and 114 lbs, 34A and wear the medium for sports, with it comfortable as slightly blousy.

I'm 5'7'', 165, 40B and the Extra Large fits great. I'm 5' 8", 155lbs., & 36B. I have some in medium and one in a large. The mediums are a perfect fit, but a little tighter in the arms than I generally like.
