How we got our start?

Many years ago, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. His hardworking hands would often split and crack in the freezing New England winters. One night, he created a simple herbal balm with beeswax and olive oil – and it helped his hands so much, he decided to share it with everyone he knew.

Formulated with good-for-your-skin ingredients like organic seabuckthorn, vitamin E and sunflower oil, it protects against UVA and UVB rays with zinc oxide, a safe physical blocker. Uses: Helps prevent sunburn

Suggested Use

For full protection, apply liberally (2mg/cm2 of skin) to all exposed skin 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Reapply:

After 40 minutes of swimming or sweating
Immediately after towel drying
At least every 2 hours

Sun Protection Measures: Regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:

Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses

For children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor.
