MEMEENO's belly band, the company's signature product, was born from one mother's frustration in trying to soothe her premature daughter after returning home from one month in the NICU. Mama tried everything to calm her fussy, colicky premie. She felt helpless and unable to care and connect with her newborn. A friend gave her a belly band to tie around her daughter's stomach, saying it would help soothe gas and digestion.

Gradually, baby's bouts of non-stop wails were reduced. She could care and connect with her baby better. This mom was so amazed by this simple solution to soothing colic and gassiness, she researched this belt only to discover that this method of baby care is actually more common than we think.

The band she used worked but was poorly made. After having her second baby, she decided to make a better band and not only that; she wanted to share this not-so-well-known secret with other moms who might be experiencing the same thing with their little ones. This second-time mom turned an old solution and updated it for the new age. Using modern science and fabric technology, she designed the MEMEENO belly band.
