Browntop millet known as pala pul(Tamil), Korale (Kannada) and Telugu (Andakorra) is an all climate grass grown mostly in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

B&B Organics sources its browntop millet from Uttar Pradesh from farmers cultivating it organically without pesticides.

Browntop millet is one of rarest millets now. It is gluten-free, has low GI and so its consumption reduces cholesterol.

Lemon rice with Brown top millet

Preparation:

It is required to soak the Brown top millet in water for2 hours Cook the millets with water and cup in a cooker
Heat the pan and oil
Add mustard, channa dal with urad dal.
Sprinkle curry leaves in the pan
Next add peanuts and chopped onion and fry it deeply
Add green chilli and turmeric with salt
Mix it well
Finally add cooked millets with lemon juice
Now your tasty dish is ready

Ingredients:

Korlu/Brown top millet – 1 cup
Onion – 1 chopped
Green chillies – 1-2 chopped
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard – 1/2 tsp
Urad dal & Toordal – ¼ tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
