• The judges found these products fascinating - the size of the nutmeg especially! The nutmeg grated beautifully and has a medicinal, savoury element to it compared with what we're used to. The mace was also delicious, very bright and refreshing and vibrant.
• This is a very special product - aromatic, unique and full of perfume and flavour. This would certainly be a statement addition to your cooking.
• This is an innovative approach combining organic nutmeg with mace. It is difficult to judge as only a small amount would be used in a recipe. The judges found the flavour of the mace dominated.
• These are incredibly beautiful, plump nutmegs with wonderfully lacy mace. We grated the nutmeg and chewed on some mace and found both abundantly zesty, bright and characterful - the mace has dramatic bitterness, heat and impact - perfect exemplars.
