Almond Oat Shower Scrub with Lavender Essential Oil

Ingredients

48 drops Aura Cacia Lavender Essential Oil 0.5 fl. oz.
4 oz. Wide Mouth Jar
3 fluid ounces unscented liquid Castile soap
2 tablespoons (about 16) whole almonds
3 tablespoons rolled oats

Almond Oat Shower Scrub with Lavender Essential Oil

A gentle DIY shower scrub recipe made with ground almonds, oats, liquid Castile soap and lavender essential oil.

Directions

1. In a food processor or grinder, combine almonds and rolled oats. Pulse until a medium to fine meal forms.

2. In a jar, combine Castile soap, lavender essential oil and ground meal. Stir until well combined.

3. To use, apply a small amount of scrub to damp washcloth, sponge or shower scrunchy. Scrub wet skin in shower, rinse and pat dry.

We source from over 40 countries to secure the best oils possible. PURITY TESTING AND RECOMMENDED USES - Gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS) testing is the primary way to ensure an essential oil is an unadulterated, true botanical. Every batch of Aura Cacia essential oils is GC/MS tested. This product is vegan and cruelty-free. GROWN IN BULGARIA - Lavender essential oil is grown in many regions across the globe, however, Aura Cacia lavender is grown in Bulgaria. Lavender is harvested annually near or just after the summer solstice. The flowers only bloom for about two weeks, so the harvesting and distillation is often done all day and night. Lavender is harvested with a combine and immediately taken to the distillation facility, where the distillation process begins. CALMING, RELAXING AROMA - The most popular essential oil in the world, lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is considered one of the safest oils to use for adults and children, and scientific studies over the years have verified its many benefits.
