The Micro is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32U4 (datasheet), developed in conjunction with Adafruit. It has 20 digital input/output pins (of which 7 can be used as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a micro USB connection, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a micro USB cable to get started. It has a form factor that enables it to be easily placed on a breadboard. See more

This model is sold without headers, it makes it ideal for highly integrated setups. It has 20 digital input/output pins (of which 7 can be used as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a micro USB connection, an ICSP header, and a reset button. The board can be powered via the micro USB connection or using an external power supply (recommended range is 7 to 12 Volts). The power source will be automatically selected. The Arduino Micro board includes an ATmega32U4 microcontroller with built-in USB communication, ready to be plugged to your computer. Simply connect it to a computer with a micro USB cable to get started. Its form factor (L:4.8cm x W:1.77cm) makes it easy to integrate it in everyday objects and make them interactive.
