Ultra-Smooth Multimedia Panel

Ampersand’s Claybord is made from our premium warp-resistant 1/8" profile Hardbord and coated with an acid-free kaolin clay ground that is perfect for mixed media. The ultra-smooth, absorbent clay surface allows for unlimited techniques: etching, erasing, reworking, adding color, and scratching it away to add contrast, texture, and fine detail.

Only Ampersand cradles are handcrafted with premium-grade, 13-ply birch plywood for maximum stability and a clean, finished look from edge to edge. Offering support and presentation all-in-one, artists may choose to seal and paint the cradles or leave them untouched to allow the natural beauty of the wood cradle to show.
