While outdoor allergens are often the result of seasonal allergies, indoor allergens usually trigger symptoms that last all year. Low humidity levels can keep dust mites and mold under control in the home. Upholstered furniture and carpets may also harbor allergens. Wash your bedding in hot water and vacuum once a week to help keep indoor allergens at bay.*

Grass, weed and tree pollens are the most common outdoor allergens and can cause sneezing, itchy eyes or a runny nose. Stay inside with the windows closed and use air conditioning when pollen counts are high. Wash your hair and clothing after going outside to avoid bringing pollen indoors.*
