Easily Add a Rear-View Camera Whether you're driving your Jeep Wrangler in a busy city or off-road on the trails, a rear-view camera can help navigate around obstacles - but how do you add a rear-view camera when the spare tire occupies so much space behind your Jeep? The HCE-RCAM-WRA is a Spare Tire Rear-View Camera System designed to mount behind your spare tire and poke through the spokes of your tire for rear visibility. The camera image is displayed on your Alpine aftermarket or factory Jeep screen.	HDR Technology When backing out of a garage or riding through shady trails, your camera system experiences various levels of light that can lead your camera image to wash out. With Alpine's High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology, the camera can mange a wider range of luminance so both bright and dark areas are captured and adjusted for even exposure and white balance for clear imaging. The weather-resistance (IP67) camera housing will ensure a reliable image no matter the driving condition.	Versatile Installation Take out the guesswork for installation. The HCE-RCAM-WRA uses the 2007 - 2018 Jeep Wrangler's bolt pattern to mount behind the spare tire and poke through the 5x5 wheel pattern. The upper portion of the bracket hosts the rear-view camera and can be positioned to the left or right of the wheel's spokes, so you have a clear view of what's behind your vehicle.	System Compatibility See your drive on your Alpine aftermarket or factory Jeep screen. The HCE-RCAM-WRA works with any Alpine aftermarket dash system with a composite (RCA) camera input. When using the HCE-RCAM-WRA with your factory Jeep screen, add the SGS-CH01 Camera Interface (sold separately) with active guide lines to integrate the camera with select Jeep Wrangler factory dash systems. If you want to add a front camera for more visibility the SGS-CH01 is compatible with Alpines KCX-C2600B Universal Camera Switcher (sold separately) that can add a front camera (sold separately) to your dash system.

The HCE-RCAM-WRA lets you easily add an Alpine rear-view camera to your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler. It is compatible with Alpine in-dash screen systems, the factory Jeep screen or other aftermarket screens. If used with the factory screen, you can add the Alpine SGS-CH01 Camera Interface (sold separately) with Active Guide Lines, without factory screen re-programming. With tons of wheel choices for the Wrangler, you need a versatile camera that works with any of them. The HCE-RCAM-WRA consists of the HCE-C1100 Rear-View Camera and bracket that is mounted between the spare tire and the Wrangler’s 5x5 wheel pattern. The upper portion of the bracket can be positioned to the left or right of the wheel’s spokes, ensuring that the attached camera has a clear line of sight behind the vehicle and is not blocked by the wheel. Backing out of garages or riding through shady trails can be tough on a back-up camera. Standard cameras have difficulty managing changes in light, causing images to wash out and making it difficult to see what’s behind you at times. The HCE-RCAM-WRA has High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology for improved image quality. HDR technology can manage a wider range of luminance through the camera’s sensor as compared to standard cameras. Bright and dark areas are captured and adjusted for even exposure and white balance, preventing the image from being washed-out or too dark as you drive between sunlight and low-light conditions.
