Docking Station for Microsoft Windows, macOS and Android phones

Accell InstantView USB 4K Docking Station boasts versatility and ease-of-use when docking for mobile devices and is ideal for various settings, including the office, home, conference room or education setting. It requires no driver installation or administrative privilege to mirror screens onto other displays. The optional built-in driver allows extended viewing across multiple monitors and is compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, macOS, Android OS, and Chrome OS. During initial connection, open InstantView external drive to launch the InstantView application for Windows or macOS, if the application/folder does not open automatically.

Android Users download the Accell Driver-Less app

For Android devices, users may download the "Accell Driver-Less" app from the Google Play store to allow screen sharing onto big screen TV. The app allows the connection of Android devices to an external monitor, keyboard, mouse, and USB peripherals, turning Android devices into a small work station to access many accessories at the same time and increase productivity.

How Does InstantView Feature Work?

Connect all cables (power cable, USB-C to the device, and HDMI to the Display).

When connecting the HDMI cable, normally the host device display(i.e. laptop screen) will flicker as it is trying to detect the new display.

Wait around 30 seconds up to 1 minute then it should mirror the host device's display.

Please make sure to be connected to the internet as the "Auto-update" feature on the dock would improve connectivity to the host device.

InstantView

Once the host device and the docking station have connected, the docking station should begin to mirror your host device's display. If the InstantView software does not auto-run, please make sure to find it in your File Explorer (Windows)/Finder (macOS) under INSTANTVIEW.

Updates on the InstantView software allow for the docking station to stay up-to-date with the OS found on the host device. When prompted for permission settings, it is to allow the driver-less dock to communicate with the host device.

Additional Settings For Windows.

Certain Operating Systems or devices have additional security/permission settings. For Windows, please install the optional driver (found in InstantView software) if you are not able to switch from mirrored to extended from your display settings.

Additional Settings For MacOS

For macOS users, connecting for the first time, macOS will prompt users to ask for permission for screen recording. The screen recording permission is to allow for the driver-less dock to access the output signal from your device to display on your monitor or TV.

Under System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Scroll down on the list on the left > select Screen Recording > make sure "macOS InstantView" is allowed.

If not, please click the lock on the bottom left and check the "macOS InstantView app"
