Chamomile (Roman) is one of the most useful and popular of all essential oils with properties that help with relaxation and calms irritated skin.

The oil is steam distilled from the Chamomile flower heads, is pale blue in colour and has a wonderful warm, sweet scent. Being one of the gentler oils it is safe to use on the whole family (just not during the first 3 months of pregnancy) particularly great for dry skin. Its soothing properties can make it a great oil for relieving headaches, irritability and muscular aches and pains.

Why is our Chamomile (Roman) essential oil so great

This oil is steam distilled from the flowering heads of the Roman Chamomile plant. The small flower heads used are labour-intensive to grow and pick and yield very little essential oil, which explains the higher cost.

How to use

DIY TIP – Blend 4 drops of Chamomile and 4 drops of Lavender Oil in 2 teaspoons of Sunflower oil and add to a cool or luke-warm bath for dry, sensitive skin and to encourage relaxation or ease any aches & pains.

ROOM FRAGRANCE – Add 3 drops of Roman Chamomile, 2 drops of Bergamot and 2 drops of Frankincense essential oil to an ultrasonic diffuser for a calming night time fragrance that comforts the mind.
