High resolution of HDMI or DisplayPort at 4K60Hz
Determine your laptop's DisplayPort (DP) version before you buy.
The DP version on your laptop, PC or tablet directly determines whether or not you can fully use the actual resolution of this FOLODA hub when connected to an external display.
1. Ask the manufacturer of your computer device.
2. If your computer's original system is Windows, you can determine which version of DP is available by checking the computer's CPU.
If the computer's CPU is Intel Gen 10 or older, the DP version is 1.2.
CPU is Intel Gen 11 or higher, the DP version is 1.4.
If the computer's is a workstation laptop with an NVIDIA GPU, the DP version is 1.4.
How do I check the specifications of the CPU? Open "This PC" (or "My PC") > "Properties" and check the system (shown in bold and underlined below).
