Q: What is Rigid PVC Floor Cord Cover?
A: Made of rigid PVC material, essentially non-elastic. True protection for the cable from external pressure.
Q: Received as a whole length or cut in several sections?
A: The product is pre-cut to 17-in each, available in packs of 2 and 4 (34-in and 68-in). Smooth ends for easy splicing.
Q: Does this need to be flattened out first?
A: Straight packing, no flattening required, it come with pre-applied strong adhesive tape, you can install it right away once you receive it.
Q: Does this apply to all types of ground?
A: This is more suitable for flat and hard floors. Due to its hard nature, the tape can’t hold well on soft or uneven surfaces. If this is not a problem for you, then it can be used for all kinds of flooring.
Q: Do I have to use tape? Without the use of adhesive tape, if the floor wire cover can remain stable on the floor?
A: This depending on the material of your floor and the number of wires carried in the channel. If it will move it is recommended to use tape to attach it. You can decide whether to use the tape or not depending on your own needs.
Q: Didn't like how hard they feel when stepping on them?
A: Installed under carpet, or in low traffic areas.
Q: How to open the lid with less effort?
A: If you think the lid doesn’t slide easily for you, especially if you hide a lot of wires, you can use an awl or any others tools to pry the lid off.
Q: How to close the lid easily?
A: Align the lid with the base and give it a few gentle strokes with your foot; when you hear a snap, it indicates that the lid has locked into place.
