How to Install Android Auto & CarPlay Wireless Adapter?

1. Plug the USB-C cable into the magic box, and the other USB-A/C end into the car's USB port.

2. Select the "CarPlay" or "Android Auto" button depending on your phone to enter the connection interface.

3. Turn on your phone's WLAN and Bluetooth, then connect your phone to the Carplay adapter's Bluetooth (Aurora-XXXX).

4. Click 'Pair' When the Bluetooth pairing request appears, then click 'Allow' Contacts and Favorites Sync to enter the Carplay (or Android Auto) interface.

To mirror from Phone/Tablet/Laptop to your Car/TV/Projector/Monitor

1. Connect the wireless adapter to your mirror device and ensure it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or personal hotspot as your phone/tablet/laptop.

2. Screen Mirror to different devices

* Click 'Cast' on the screen, click the button in the upper right corner, and connect the magic box to the network.

* Use the HDMI cable to connect the wireless adapter to the mirror device. * Plug the USB A-C cable to connect the wireless adapter and the mirror device.

* Select the right HDMI channel to enter the UI.

* Use a mouse or remote to double-tap 'Cast' at the bottom of the screen, click the button in the upper right corner, and connect the magic box to the network.

B: Screen Mirror

* For iOS devices, click the 'screen mirror' function on your device, select the 'Aurora-XXXX' to connect, and start mirroring.

* For Android devices, open the app you want to mirror, click the screen-casting function on the app, select the 'Aurora-XXXX' to connect, and start mirroring.

* For Windows or Mac OS devices, open Google Chrome, click the '?' button on the upper right corner, click “Cast,” select the 'Aurora-XXXX' to connect, and start mirroring.

3. Notes

{1}. Ensure the wireless adapter is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or personal hotspot as your phone/tablet/laptop.

{2}. Android devices only support casting some video apps with screen-casting functions.

{3}. Under the HDMI cinema mode, iOS and Mac OS devices don't support mirroring all apps that have subscription services due to

HDCP copyright protection, like Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, Sky Go, HBO, Directv, Disney+, Zoom, etc.

{4}. If your car has both wireless and wired CarPlay, and you have successfully connected wireless CarPlay before, find the Bluetooth name of the OEM radio and select 'Forget this device' before using this wireless adapter.

{5}. If you are casting a screen through a mobile phone hotspot but cannot find the device name, disconnect the hotspot, re-enter the hotspot password, and reconnect the hotspot.

Will this work on my vehicle?

First, check if your vehicle supports Wired CarPlay. Look for a USB port with a CarPlay logo or smartphone image. If uncertain, send an email or post a question for confirmation.

Why doesn't the hotspot connect automatically when I get in my car?

Ensure the hotspot is on, confirm if the device has been connected to Carplay before. turn on the box wifi setting, ensure the phone's hotspot is on, then it will auto connect. You can't play online video while using Carplay or Android Auto.

Can I watch online videos without a WiFi hotspot?

To play online streaming, it must be connected to a WiFi hotspot. However, you can still play video files using a USB flash drive without a hotspot.
