Applicable Material Range:

• Styrofoam, Polystyrene, PU Sponge(Polyurethane), KT board, Pearl Cotton; Foam Glass, XPS (Extruded Polystyrene), EPP( Expanded Polypropylene), EPS(Expanded Polystyrene), polyethylene and other medium and low density light foams.

Inapplicable Material Range:

• For cutting medium and low density foam, but cannot cut high density foam, plastic, low density sponge, latex and other materials with high melting point, high density and poor fluidity.

Note:

1. Please check that the foam material is within the scope of application before use, more tips and advice can be found in our accompanying instructions.
2. Only the bow-shaped hot wire can cut the PU sponge, and other pen-shaped electric cutters can't do it.

How to Use

Step 1: Use the included pen to draw a rough trace or mark where you want the cut to be.

Step 2: Select the applicable foam cutter tip according to your needs, attach to the end of the handle and make sure it is fixed.

Step 3: Turn on switch and wait for about 5-10 seconds to heat up, and then start cutting the foam.

Step 4: Turn off the switch and unplug it when finished cutting.

Step 5: After each use, wipe and clean the melted foam on the tip with a damp sponge to avoid blackening and hardening due to oxide adhesion.

How to better apply different cutting tips to create great works of art

1. Bow type hot wire cutter (18cm) - suitable for cutting and carving of large foam, such as Christmas tree, snowman, castle, foam door, Halloween decoration and so on. You can use it to quickly cut away excess foam or sculpt rough outlines early in your creations.
2. Safe Tips

1. Please keep it out of the reach of children and children should be used under the supervision of an adult.
2. Do not leave the device unattended when it is turned on.
3. Do not touch any hot surfaces. During operation, the tip can become very hot.
4. Turn off the switch and place the tip on the stand when resting or not in use.
5. You can practice with the included packing foam to avoid wasting your precious materials.
6. Due to the high temperature, the foam may melt and produce smoke when cutting the foam too long, so you need to use it in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling smoke.
7. After use, immediately (before the tip has cooled down completely) clean the residual foam on the tip with a damp sponge.
8. If the residual foam cools and solidifies on the tip, you can try scrubbing it with a sanded wear pad or a small wire brush.
