How to Create (Multi) Wax Seals with A Glue Gun
1. Use a glue gun is the most efficient way to seal large quantity of envelopes. One package of 20 sticks is usually enough to make 200-320 seals.
2.Choose a low-temp 0.43 inch /11 mm 60 W standard sized glue gun for our wax sticks.
3. Insert the first wax stick into the glue gun and allow to initially heat up. Rest the glue gun in the upright standing position over the heat safe surface. Some wax may drip a bit.
4. Once the glue gun is ready, pull the trigger to release the wax onto your envelope and place the stamp in the center of the wax.
5. Let the wax cool for 15 seconds, carefully remove the wax seal and you're done!
6. Keep your stamp on an ice pack between uses to avoid the wax stuck to the stamp if you plan to seal dozens!
Warm Tips
1.If you find the stamp stuck to the wax, let it rest until the stamp has cooled; Then you should be able to easily release your stamp from the wax.
2.We recommend resting your seal on ice before embossing the hot wax and ensure you wipe away any excess moisture before stamping this will quick set the wax, and allow the seal to easily release.
3.Please bear in mind the glue gun was designed for glue stick which requires a much higher melting temperature than the wax, so to keep the temperature low is the key.
4.After the glue gun is heated to melt the wax stick, We recommend that you don't turn on the glue gun all the time, because the residual heat of the glue gun can continue to melt your wax stick, the glue gun has been kept at a high temperature and will quickly melt the wax stick.
