The body converts carbohydrates to sugar (glucose) which is used for fuel, left-over fuel is stored as fat. Expect Urine Ketone Levels to Drop After Keto Adaptation

Keto-adaptation is the process the body goes through as it changes from using primarily glucose for energy to using fat.Once sugar becomes depleted, organs begin the process of adapting to using ketones as its main fuel.
